I first toured The Learning Experience on Q Street for a school for my toddler. I was not expecting to hear they were hiring at that time when I was indeed starting to look at different centers for employment, so my initial first impression was solely from a parent point of view. With that being said, I was absolutely blown away by the amount of detail TLE puts into their work as an Early Childhood Education Center! Their artwork that flows through the entire building keeps kids engaged and asking meaningful questions. The inclusivity throughout the pieces of artwork that shows multiple TLE characters(who each teach different skills and subjects) was truly impressive to me! I am always wanting my child to see things through multiple points of views to encourage empathy, problem solving skills and determination. TLE does just that! The curriculum structured for each age group is meticulously developed to achieve milestones and each Childs uniqueness. There is a multi-purpose room for the older ages that has a STEM board the The Learning Experience has made their very own lesson plans, games, puzzles, story times and so much more! And its different for each age group! As a Teacher, being able to see the entirety of it has blossomed new interests in me for my daughter!!! It inspires so many new ideas! Also, TLE encourages to embrace the process of learning something new instead of striving for kids to achieve the same things the *exact* same way as each other! Everyone is accepted and embraced! As an employee, I am so grateful to finally be somewhere I feel so many people share the same passion for this line of work! We don't view it as a job but a profession! Everyone here wants every child to reach their amazing potential! The training at the beginning was very detailed and organized so that every employee has knowledge on building wide criteria! The ongoing training is extensive and constantly covers so many topics! The resources we are given as teachers is just amazing! I have NEVER been employed at a center where so many of our needs(and even wants!) can be tended to rather quickly sometimes! I am surprised with how much our management can really accomplish with how much they have on their plate at some times!!!! Our curriculum director, Amy, is SO incredibly talented with how much she gets done each day! She helps us with our hallway boards, helps with lesson plan ideas, craft ideas, and so much more! Our Director, Stephanie, and Assistant Director, Ashlee are absolute power houses with how much they juggle with parent interactions and satisfactions to employee interactions and satisfactions and literally everything in between. We need coverage for a bathroom break? There they are as soon as they can! We need help navigating kids having rough moments and difficult times? They are ready to try and speak with the child and try different ideas to help calm the situation and more importantly the child, NO MATTER the age!! It is truly astonishing. I could go on and on about The Learning Experience truly! I am extremely happy here thus for with my toddlers education and experience but also with my employment!
