Our group was met by a costumed interpreter who provided an overview of the rooms in the Visitor's Center. The Center had wonderful art work, historical artifacts and railroad memorabilia. They offered homemade cookies and hot beverages for a donation. They had a nice gift shop and clean restrooms.

So cool if you like history. David told us about the paintings on the main floor all have hidden images in them. David was awesome and gave us a bunch of cool history. The basement has the railroad items, ask Linda about the cash register. She is so nice and knows so much about the local history. The upstairs has some amazing quilts! Liam and Willow are kind enough to pose for a picture.

Our family was halfway through an epic road trip from Texas to Rushmore, Yellowstone, etc. We wanted to check out a bit of Idaho while we were over there, and I'm so glad we did!

The Oregon Trail Museum was awesome for our family to walk through and experience. The guide taught us various things about the process the pioneers went through, the considerations they had to make, and the sets/artifacts were authentic and immersive. I would definitely recommend stopping through and enjoying the history. Check out the Butch Cassidy museum also, which was good fun for the kids! Bear Lake was amazing, also! There is so much to do and so little time!

Amazing Museum! Visiting from Phonix AZ. The beginning tour is so fun, all of my kids enjoyed it and learned so much. The wagon master was awesome. The light effects, historical items and scenes were great. The gift shop had modern, stylish cute things to buy. I appreciated the lady who helped with the downstairs museum, she gave my young girls and boys items to look for, and helped teach them how to use the old coin cashier.

Amazing paintings. I could spend hours and hours looking at the details and finding the hidden faces! Cute shows are put on here by the Bear Lake Arts Council as well. Sometimes, there are beautiful quilts displayed. There is a great tour during most of the year on the Oregon Trail. Definitely worth going!

They were actually closed, but let us in and gave us a tour! Heber and Dave were very informative, welcoming, and friendly. Great exhibits!!!!

Definitely worth a visit. Coffee bar and gift shop, amazing artwork and quilt exhibit. The official tour has Hollywood quality representations of a general store and a simulated experience of traveling in a wagon across the trail.
