This place is really adorable, as are all of the bird-loving staff. Everyone was so very kind, so very passionate, and so very knowledgeable!
The live show was held with a handsome barn owl, and he was a hoot.

I loved getting to see and learn about all of the birds. The signage is fun and informative! (I’d love to see name tags on the enclosures as well!)

They have a really cute kids room with bird eggs to inspect, coloring pages of the birds you’ve just seen, and a few other activities.

I loved learning about the mission and projects of the peregrine fund, but honestly thought that the ‘world center’ would have more bird ambassadors. I was a little disappointed, but only because I wanted to ogle more raptors!
The ones there look healthy, seem to have access to various free-flight times, and are cared for by passionate staff.

Gift shop felt a touch pricy, (but don’t they always?) and had a pretty good selection of shirts, hats, ornaments, post cards, etc.

Thanks, Peregrine Fund! We hope to return in the fall for some outdoor flight shows!

Got there pretty late in the day. Luckily, Summer hours just started today (March 1) so the last entry was 1615, not 1515 during winter hours. There were several birds outside, like a gyrfalcon, California condors, etc. Inside the interpretive center, there was a video explaining how some birds had been brought back from the brink of extinction. A barn owl, harpy eagle, and a few others were inside in addition to some cool taxidermy specimens. Workers were walking around answering questions and pointing out cool bits of information about the birds. I really enjoyed my time here at the center and hope to catch it again the next time I am in Boise.

A great place to learn about the birds of prey, the staff are very knowledgeable and patient to our questions. The outdoor class was very educational and interactive, we all had a lot of fun there and learned a ton of new things about birds. The facility is well maintained and organized, there are also a lot of classes designed for kids to get introduced to the birds of prey. Highly recommend to pay a visit.

We enjoyed our visit, but I am not sure it is a location we will frequent again and again in the same season. I think it's a great adventure to make sure you check off of you're living in the Treasure Valley!

We really enjoyed the opportunity to see some of the raptors up close - even having some of the small owls flying over our heads!

The interactive portions for the littles are limited, but the ones they do have, my littlest enjoyed.

The staff were all very friendly, passionate about their birds, and kind!

Also, despite it being a smaller sized attraction, there was still enough there to spend an hour or two. They also had picnic tables so we could have lunch.

The view of the Treasure Valley was epic!

We drove from Utah to see this place. While in Boise we did other things. But this was our main purpose.

It was exciting to do the special show and then walk around the facility. Let it be known. They don't have a ton of birds on display. But what they do have are great ambassadors.

It isn't a zoo per say. But a conservation center first. Where you can learn more about birds of prey.

For the shows specifically - the staff do a great job of walking around the crowd and even launching the birds from every angle. I'd say there's not a bad seat in the house. Just about every spot will have a bird flying over your head at some point or another. Additionally they will walk right in front of you so you can get a 3ft view of the bird.

You can tell they put a lot of thought into giving the crowd a good show.

We had such a fun time here! I took out of town guests and they loved it too. We learned things we never know (and we had some bird aficionados ;). Easy to get around and we saw some people with walkers and wheelchairs who seemed to not have an issue. Some things inside and some outside. Lots of shade. Not sure if you can bring food in but it’s be fun to have a snack or lunch and watch the birds. We did t buy tickets in advance but it would be helpful if there was a crowd. They also have a great little gift shop.
