As a physician-scientist and medical director with a focus on innovation in clinical training, I’ve had the opportunity not just to visit, but to directly help implement the CMA-AI program at Central Texas. What I witnessed on site reinforced exactly why this initiative matters.
We are not teaching abstract concepts. We’ve introduced real, functional systems—from virtual reality simulations that mirror live clinical decision-making, to EHR-based documentation workflows that prepare students for day-one expectations in real healthcare settings. The most rewarding part has been watching the onsite instructors—some of whom had no prior exposure to these technologies—embrace this novelty with energy, professionalism, and purpose.
Instructors have not only adapted—they've led. They’ve taken ownership of these tools, personalized the simulations for student needs, and embedded digital documentation training into their teaching with clarity and confidence. This kind of buy-in is critical, and it has become the foundation for the program’s early success.
The students, in turn, are already showing signs of elevated readiness. They are learning to think like clinicians, document like professionals, and engage with digital tools that will define the next chapter of healthcare.
This isn’t a program that’s waiting for the future—it’s preparing for it now. And I’m proud to have been part of its launch.

One of the best kept secrets in all of central Texas! I wish I would’ve found them 6 months ago before I signed up for Cybertex. The staff are the absolute best, if you want to pursue a career in healthcare or electrician but don’t think you can afford it DO NOT let that stop you, come into the office and talk to Bianca, she is the QUEEN of financial services and she devotes her time and energy into EVERY SINGLE student, Bianca will make sure you are in class by the next Mod if that is truly what your heart desires, she will not take no for an answer. Bianca makes sure she does everything for her students and cares deeply for everyone. I have learned more in 1 week than I ever learned in 6 months at Cybertex and that’s saying something. If you are ready to better your career and future Please Please Please talk to Training Center of Central Texas first!

I am not a student here.
I came to take a tour here and it was 30 minutes of sales pitches and bragging about jobs waiting for students who graduate. The advisor was late and when it came to the costs of the school, I find out that they DO NOT work with VA students or the GI Bill. They also do not work with FINANCIAL AID, the actual price is $17,500 and if you don’t have it upfront, they want you to sign a loan while still having to make monthly payments around $300.

If you are military affiliated, I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS SCHOOL. However, I would recommend the College of Health Care Professions in Austin. They work with financial aid and I’m only paying half of what this school wanted me to pay monthly. I only have to go in person to class once a week (everything else is learned online) and they provided me with a laptop/everything I need to succeed. It’s an hour commute and the program is longer by 3 months but at least it’s accredited and legit.

From the very start to the end, it has been an incredible experience. I would like to express my gratitude to Miss Bianca for her dedicated support during the enrollment process. Spending over an hour to ensure my approval and helping me secure the best loan company reflects a level of commitment that goes beyond expectations.
Once in the class, Ms. Ashley's efforts were truly commendable. She went above and beyond to provide us with the best education and training possible, making every minute in the class worthwhile.

The Training Center was a great experience. I do not regret coming to this school. Class hours was reasonable and the course only lasted like 5 months Ms. Abigail was an amazing teacher and always explained everything very detailed. I was in a rough financial situation and they helped me in every way possible for me to come to class and not miss anything. I was able to get a job before graduating and they paused my classes so I can start working and get back on my feet. And then be able to finish. I recommend this place 100%.

From the beginning I knew this school was the right fit for me. I am a mother of two school aged children, and the schedule is flexible for me to be able to attend class while they’re in school. I love coming to school here, my class is so motivated and excited to learn everyday. I love learning from my peers and teachers. The atmosphere is always positive and welcoming. I highly recommend Mrs. Mayleen as a learning instructor. Not only is she very professional in her work ethic but she is extremely compassionate as a person. I received the best CPR learning experience from her, she made sure to answer all the questions I had and was able to provide helpful feedback in my skills. 10/10 experience.

I absolutely love the instructors and staff because everyone is supportive and welcoming. My instructor. Ms. Abigail is knowledgeable and makes everything easy to understand. We always have visual aids which compliment our learning material. She takes the time to explain and ensures we understand. I am glad I'm taking the CCMA course. I graduate in September of this year.
