Steve, who works there provided professional, competent, quick service and is an excellent employee, the kind that make business's last long. He could be a manager because he is an example of how to do things right. He helped me with a return to Amazon, and helped a lot, with speed, patience and the kind of professionalism employers need to both maintain and grow their business.

I moved to LA six months ago and since then I've never received a package on-time when UPS is the carrier. I've had UPS as a carrier for 8 different packages from different vendors. I know this specific store probably has little to do with that but this needs to be said somewhere.

I was finally prompted to leave a review because my order from Crocs is delayed in shipping (surprise, UPS is the carrier).

The worst example was a prescription glasses order from Eyeconic. Those prescription glasses took 14 days for Eyeconic to make, and another 4 days for UPS to deliver. After I waited 18 days, UPS made me wait another 3 days before I could place a claim. Overall, I waited 21 days to submit the lost package claim, just for UPS to take another 5 days to confirm that they lost the package.

Finally, after 26 days, Eyeconic received confirmation that the package was lost and began making a replacement pair. That replacement took another 14 days to make, plus another 4 days in UPS to ship it. That whole debacle led to a 44 day wait to receive glasses that I desperately needed for my vision.

AVOID UPS AT ALL COSTS.

I needed to ship my Odyssey 10.1” Dobsonian Telescope cross-country. It was very large, with a heavy base and quite bulky. The staff were friendly and helpful as I brought in what had to be extraordinary and odd items to be shipped. I met with Nubia and put my trust in her to package and ship everything for me. My telescope arrived safely at my home in a few days. Nubia and the staff had professionally packaged everything so nothing could be damaged. Absolutely fantastic! I am so thrilled at the services provided and highly recommend this store for your shipping needs. Thank you.

There are few businesses in the world I enjoy walking into more than this particular UPS Store in Marina del Rey! They are such an incredibly dynamic and diverse team and they ALWAYS go above and beyond to help. A particular shout out to Nubia... The "Queen of Egypt" I like to call her! She's nothing short of amazing. She works so hard and so effortlessly, and her focus is always on caring for EVERY customer's needs. She not only deserves to be the ruler of Egypt (Lol), but of all things kind, considerate, determined, precise and professional.

But it takes a team too, and this team kicks butt!!

They were professional enough but required my driver’s license just to mail a letter. Then they wanted $15 to send a regular letter within the US. No thanks!

I never thought I'd actually enjoy going to a UPS location repeatedly, but the team here is awesome! Joseph is so warm and friendly to every customer, I legit feel like I'm back at my local coffee shop. Plus he went out of his way to help me when I goofed and didn't realize my Amazon returns were supposed to be customer-packed. Every other person who has assisted me has been friendly—even when one associate was treated quite poorly by the prior customer, she still greeted me kindly when she could've easily passed on the wrath!
