Im a student there and I thought that this school was gonna be different but I was wrong. The staff is horrible and they just dont do anything to help students. There is this dude at lunch who keeps yelling at kids and rushing them to clean up their food/table. Me and my friends keep getting bullied and the staff wont do anything about it. This school is horrible. People who are giving this school 4 to 5 stars. What did they brainwash you with?
Im really hurt that this school won't do anything about bullying and then when I try to defend myself or my friends im the one who gets sent to the counselor or assistant principal's office, like what? Again im sorry but this school is horrible.

I go here now. The staff are extremely rude to the kids and many feel like the teachers are being discriminatory towards them because they are poc. Mr. Frank kept trying to move me (African American) and my friend (Hispanic) from a lunch table and put us inside to separate us from our friends. Administration there tells us that racially motivated bullying is not allowed but they do it themselves. Mrs Watterson is also pretty rude to her students. I’ve heard many reports about teachers picking on them due to their race. The teachers act like the students are lower than them and that they can talk to us however they want because we are students and they are adults.This school does not care about their students at all! I would not recommend this school unless you have to. Do better thurman.🙎

Went here for 8th grade and because I was really interested in their choir major. Honestly I had a really great experience in this school. I’d even say this was my best year academically which helped a lot for my freshmen year of high school. Teachers were nice, never had a bad experience with anyone. I rarely ever heard about fights or bullying here. The choir program was definitely my favorite part about this school, they do concerts at actual performing arts centers and it’s really well done.

The teachers are mean and racist. They treat us like slaves, the lunch people scream at us when we stand up for even a second the staff at this school is terrible. The teachers are rude. I gave my friend my id to us at the student store and Ik I wasn’t supposed to but the lady snatched it off super hard and forcefully off my friends neck and when I told her it was mine she started lecturing me and screaming at me for no reason. Me and my friend are Hispanic and ms Dailey was very racist towards her because she Is Hispanic DO NOT EVER SEND YOUR KIDS HERE ITS THE WORST SCHOOL I EVER HAVE BEEN TO!!

My son started that school in Feb 2017 and the last few weeks of school he had major issue! Someone punch him in the face after school..

Kids, that was asked question, lie and I pick up my son, right before it happen. Try to find the kid that punch him, but he ran and my son didn't see him.

Went back to school and call the police, did a report and was told that my son was lying! I pull him out, three week before ending of school, due to I knew he wasn't safe!

I was told over and over and over this school is great! Maybe the teacher and some of staff was good, but it was the environment... i could sit here and go on about what happen. I pull him out knowing it will hurt him but I don't regret it....

This school must changed, far as parents that have to stay in the zoning. I suggest, to move. I move to Summerlin and the school out here are better and more charter schools.. I like charter schools, more one on one with teacher and smaller class room also! Some school uniform, but to me it good for the kids! Prayers to the victim family!

My daughter is in their dance academy. She has always been self conscious about herself, and her teachers have turned her into the confident amazing dance I already knew she was. I absolutely love this school.

This school does nothing to protect the kids. My nephew has been pushed and kicked by other kids. His mom has reported this “bullying” and nothing is done. This is ridiculous. My nephew one time tried to defend himself and he was threatened to be arrested and these other kids have no other consequence. It is in Nevada law that you must protect students once a bullying incident is reported.

Yeah, bad things happened at this school over the years. Bad things happen everywhere, it could have happened anywhere. I'm not entirely saying it was the 16 year olds fault for getting stabbed, but she shouldn't have been at a middle school anyways. I'm rating this school based on the teachers and education, not because there was some unfortunate events. I do go to this school and I love it, but bad things happen everywhere, that doesn't mean the school is a bad place for children to learn. Plus all the teachers are very experienced, and the school provides great education to those who want to be in the performing arts.
