This daycare is very unprofessional and low management. The owner of this daycare is all about money. As long as he's making money at this daycare and at his church he don't care what happene next.He don't care about the safety of the kids or the staff members he hired over anyone kids. Out of all my years of existence pretaining a daycare. I have never seen five grown men working at a daycare around little babies. I'm not being discriminating against anyone but that was very new to me to walk into this facility and see that. That is not something that everyone is is alright with. If you all are understaff, it is not alright to just hire anyone or your family and friends. I think the state should be investigating this daycare facility and all of their staff members personally. I promise you everyone is not qualified and background approval and qualified to be around these little bitty babies.My prayers go out to the parents.

I only rated “one star” because it was the lowest I could rate. If I could have rated lower, I would have. To the owner, whom I could never get in contact with, in order to continue to build your business I would suggest a couple things. Hire a youthful, educated and experienced director with updated experience. OR hire an assistant director. The current director, Tonya Latham, has a nasty attitude upon arrival and this will push present and future clientele away. The current director is old, grumpy and rude. The staff, (the infant room teacher and the man who works with the toddlers) however; were both professional and easy to work with. Both of them maintained joyful and passionate attitudes. Sadly, “one bad apple will ruin the bunch”, so I have chosen to take my money elsewhere. I dreaded dropping my baby off there but I only did it as a “last resort” because TLC was the only daycare that offered late hours that best accommodated me at the time, being that I am in the Masters program. I never had a problem with the teachers professionalism or common curtesy, as stated above, the directors professionalism and rude attitude was the problem. I have found a wonderful in home daycare near JSU, thank God. If there is a change in directors however, I might consider bringing my baby back only because the teachers are so wonderfully skilled.
And to Tonya Latham: you can “TEACH” or “PREACH” the word of God BUT you have to “PRACTICE” it to “RECEIVE” it. Whatever it is that you were/are going through, leave your personal beliefs/feelings at the door step of your own home or-else you will continue to cause the owner of this establishment to loose out on great clientele and their money.

My daughter absolutely loves this daycare. She does not like anyone and she loves the people that work here I like the fact that they don't put a restriction on when you can drop them off and when you can pick them up. I am very particular about who I allow to watch my daughter and this place has been a godsend.
