The staff and dr is nice every one is great but my experience unfortunately ended up being a lot of money and time spent working on my jaw to discover I should see an ENT to solve my real issues with nasal airflow for turbinate and deviated septum surgery. Worth seeing an ENT before you put money down here. This is maybe a good decision if you for sure are having sleep apnea jaw shift could solve or are recommended to get a CPAP. Learned some good breathing exercises and tips so maybe that was the most useful piece in my case.

My 10-yr-old daughter has been doing myofunctional therapy. It's been a bit of a process with my daughter's ADHD and our busy schedule, but Mindy has been very patient with us. I signed up feeling like it was the right thing without fully understanding how important this would be. Since then, I've been learning a lot more about it and I'm so glad my daughter is getting this therapy! Bonus that Mindy and all the others at Gunnerson Dental are so patient and easy to work with. They truly care about their patients and offer so many extras that my daughter actually looks forward to her appointments. Highly recommend working with them!

I brought my daughter in for their Myotherapy services. We have been with them for over a year now and I cannot even begin to explain how thankful and impressed I am! They are always so professional and KIND! The staff is always happy, welcoming and helpful. Mindy (the gal that does the Myotherapy) is beyond amazing! She’s treated us like a true friend from the beginning and has been so patient with my daughter who was only 5 when we started the program. She is thorough, educated, sincere and thoughtful. The program and exercises are super kid friendly/fun and she takes time and extra care with them to make sure they fully understand/do them correctly. She is so great with kids and is such sweet person! I’m so happy with the progress that we have made in the time we have been here with my daughter and all they have done to help her with her growth! This Myotherapy program has helped my daughter so much with her development as well as helping us avoid major extractions later on. Thank you Gunnerson Dental/TMJ Sleep Therapy and of course, THANK YOU MINDY and the Myotherapy Program!

My jaw bugged me for years! Lock jaw, cracking, clicking, popping, pain and discomfort. Dr. Gunnerson and his team were beyond helpful! They had me come in for a consult and were so validating. They showed me what the issues were and there were things that I didn't even know my messed up jaw impacted! (Just ask them- it plays a role in a LOT) We scheduled a treatment plan that is several months but! It was worth it.They just showed me my results from the first visit and this visit and y'all. It is crazy!! Call these people up! If anything- they're just fun to be with! You won't regret it.

I’ve suffered from migraines all my life and have never really found something that effectively helped. I would take tryptan and ibuprofen together at the onset of a migraine to stop it from getting out of hand but have had to take that almost every day in order to function. So basically I was in a bad cycle of rebound headaches because I was taking so much medication but I couldn’t stop because the meds were the only thing that helped. I went here to get something looked at for my jaw and mentioned migraines and they offered a super simple practice that could potentially help. I was skeptical but willing to try because I had tried everything else, all other preventive meds, injections, Botox, acupuncture etc. After one time meeting and getting this practice done, my migraines were cut in half in frequency which was the most significant thing I had seen in my lifetime of trying to get help for my migraines! I’ve already taken less meds and know things will only improve as I stop taking as much medication which are contributing to my rebound migraines. They say everyone is different and the practice can last up to multiple multiple months in helping decrease to the migraines (for some people it can help wipe them out entirely) but for someone like me who has severe migraines, I know this could prove even better for those who don’t have them as bad as me. I would recommend this to anyone who is looking for migraine help!

Dr. Gunnerson and his staff are amazing. I appreciate how they worked together to get a full picture of my history and symptoms. I had the SPG procedure for chronic headaches and migraine and just a few days after I am experiencing the most relief from my headaches in years.

I went in due to a TMJ issue, and got on the orthotic appliance. The team is very kind, and dr. is there to clarify questions that come up - however I would highly recommend doing your own research before making a decision on the appliance. It's about 2x the price compared to up North (Orem-Salt Lake areas), and it's smart to make sure this is the correct appliance for your case in general... otherwise it may be a waste of time. Looking back there were a few red flags that would've prevented me from doing this from the start - however my tmj was giving me a lot of discomfort, and I was just ready to get on a treatment. Do your research.

I got a sleep device for my sleep apnea over two years ago. It has literally changed my life. I used a cpap for years and hated it! Now I sleep all night long and wake up feeling so great! I strongly recommend Dr. Gunnerson and his office. Don’t put it off if you don’t sleep well! There is help!
