While on vacation from Houston, I called Top Flight and set up a mountain flying lesson with Jeff. The representative who answered the phone made it super easy. I have my private pilot's certificate and just showed the required documents, borrowed a headset (no extra fee!) and we flew up to Big Bear lake, landed at the airport and then made the trip back, flying over the lake. Jeff did a wonderful job going over the challenges of mountain flying and flying at higher altitudes. The Cessna 172M was well maintained, in great shape, and fun to fly. In addition to logging the experience and learning a great deal, I enjoyed the amazing views from 9,500 feet! I highly recommend them for lessons or aircraft rental. I will definitely be back next time I am in town.

I recently moved to Corona and was looking for a place to begin my flight training. So I began looking for flight schools and Top Flight was the first and last one I called. Right off the bat, Pardis was beyond helpful and patient answering all my questions and explaining the whole process. I began my training with Veronika and she was a great instructor and could not have made learning any easier or more fun. The owner David was extremely helpful as well and helped guide me along the way. I completed my PPL and am currently working on my instrument training and plan on taking it the whole way with Top Flight. I’m extremely grateful to have come across them and recommend to everyone.

Probably one of the best flight schools in the LA/SoCal area!
I’ve been around Aviation for over 16 years and after my original flight school in Long Beach closed, I never really found a good replacement until last year when I found Top Flight in Corona KAJO.
It’s a very friendly environment. Everyone there is an aviation enthusiast. They have great classrooms overlooking the airport, a state-of-the-art simulator for instrument training, and most importantly a fantastic fleet of airplanes with excellent maintenance records and nicely upgraded avionics (Garmin G5s and 650s). I personally like their C172S models very much and their naturally aspirated C182 with G1000.
Whenever you bring any squawks to them they make sure to take care of them promptly. Their airplanes are cleaned regularly and have nice interiors with everything you’d need for a cross country flight onboard.
They have headsets, ADSB receivers and a digital lock for their offices and for the airplane keys, which makes renting an aircraft after-hours, or any time really, so easy and convenient. Probably the easiest rental pickup I’ve ever experienced.
I honestly have nothing bad to say about the place and am happy to have found Top Flight and somewhat became a family member there as well. I completed my CFI and my CFII checkrides in their aircrafts and am also renting from them quite a bit.
I do also offer some flight instruction in their airplanes but I’m not an employee or associated with the company. I am just comfortable with offering my students their facilities and fleet of airplanes.

Corona generally is a great airport for learning how to fly due to the little air traffic compared to busier airports like Chino or John Wayne etc. The flight club is also super cool with great people and airline pilots too, but I’m just too busy with my professional aviation career to be a member at this time and their fleet is a little bit older (still well maintained though) but they do have Twins for your multi add-on.

Friendly environment, very good instructors, plane are well maintained (very important). Staff members are always very helpful. I got my private and instrument with Top Flight. Also I trust Top Flight with my daughter’s discovery flight. Come on check it out for yourself.

Something about the jets flying in circles over your neighborhood over and over. The white and red jet. Just doing laps... something about that kind of drives a person crazy. Crazy enough to capture pictures of the jet and look up the local aviation company and identify the jet via the pictures on your site.

Clean, good avionics, very good team that answers all your questions. I’ve built part of my cross country time with this school and have to say they have a top of the notch team, knowledgeable when it comes to ADM, flying in the congested airspace we have in SoCal and also good with maintaining there aircraft. Very friendly and what I have seen in the last few months is how they have grown, with one of the best fleet of aircraft for the price in the entire area. Love that they have G-650 and G5’s to help you with your IFR and XC flying. Defiantly recommend!

I came across Top Flight Aviation after an extensive research for a flight school that would be a good fit for me. I am extremely satisfied with my decision. They have a fleet of well maintained and clean airplanes with garmin 650 gps and Dual G5 indicators in all their C172s. Instructors and the management team are very helpful, friendly and they make this process very enjoyable for me! I am excited to finish my private training and to keep renting with these guys. Great pricing, amazing customer service and always going the extra mile to make sure I’m getting the best experience. 10/10 thank you guys, David and Pardis are awesome.
