I use to love this shop but I’ve witnessed the owner chef himself at a Pokemon machine at an Albertsons in murrieta yesterday cleaning out the machine of prismatic and 151 loading up a shopping cart. It’s really a wonder why we can’t get any product right now greed has taken control of this hobby and it’s on full display here. He can write and dispute about this post all he wants but that’s him and I saw what he did. Now he’s gonna sell all that for twice the price while screwing over the community he claims to take care of. This guy has distributions he gets product from and he’s out here scalping product from grocery store machines. This hobby is in a sad spot right now and more and more people are getting exposed for greed will no longer be doing business here.

If you’re a Pokémon fan, look no further than Trainer Center! This shop is a treasure trove for collectors, with an incredible selection of cards and memorabilia that will leave any fan in awe.

What truly makes this place special is the owner, Chef. He went above and beyond during my visit, staying after hours to appraise my collection with care and expertise. Chef’s honesty and knowledge were unmatched—he even suggested I hold onto some cards because they’ll likely increase in value, and told me to bring them back later if I decide to sell. That kind of integrity is so rare in business, and it shows just how much Chef genuinely cares about his customers and the Pokémon community.

The shop itself is vibrant, welcoming, and clearly run by someone who loves what they do. Chef’s passion and dedication make Trainer Center a standout. Amazing shop, amazing people, and an experience I’ll never forget. I’ll definitely be back soon—thank you, Chef, for everything!

‘Chef’ is an incredible human. Besides being very knowledgable in the world of Pokemon, he is also extremely patient, kind, and generous with his younger customers. Would never recommend any other Pokemon store for any and all collectors. Keep up the awesome work, Chef! The world and this community needs more people like you.

The best pokemon trading card store I've ever been to... Came in on a Friday just to see what they had and I got stuck there... I'm new to the game with zero knowledge about anything pokemon. But they have made me feel great, the community of pokemoners gave my 12 year old son and I the most amount of love we've ever received at any store, it totally set them apart and set them high on a pedestal... The people are great from the staff to the regulars that show up everyday especially on Fridays.. trainer center has become our home for cards and our hangout spot where my son and I get to go and spend some time together with our newly made friends and pokefam... If your looking to find a place that Is welcoming and that isn't trying to pull a fast one on you this is the store. You can totally trust how they lookout for you and just want you to have a great time with friends... My son and I are always there on Friday nights and we look forward to it every week... I recommend that if you have kids into Pokemon and you want to spend some bonding time with them this is the place you've been looking for, just ask for "chef" and he'll take good care of you . And tell him that your new friend Allan sent you.. we'll see you there

Chef made my daughter’s day!! She is new to Pokémon and although the shop was busy and Chef was working alone, he found a window of time to cards to make a fun evee set for her including taking one from his personal binder. I was amazed with his patience and generosity with his young customers!!

This is the best place for Pokémon fans! I wish I could give more than 5 stars. Whether you're new or experienced at Pokémon, you will be taken care of. "Chef" (owner and operator) is so patient with the kids and his knowledge of Pokémon is second to none. He is extremely reasonable with his prices and does not take advantage of people. His goal is to give Pokémon collectors, Pokémon parents and Pokémon kids a safe place to buy, sell, trade, get educated and play the Pokémon trading card game. This place is one of a kind. It's tucked behind the 24/7 wireless cell phone store next to the Walgreens on Beach and Slater. My kids ask to go to the Trainer Center every day!

10/10 service. Owners knew everything about their products. They were patient with everyone including me and gave us more then fair prices on their singles. They witnessed them helping a first time mom and gave them honest feedback about products for her younger son and weren’t trying to oversell her at all. They also have a friendly dog who is very open to petting and makes little to no noise. Wonderful experience
