The grounds at the Historic Fish Hatchery are always open and the signs provide a self guided tour of the native plant gardening and natural habitat. The interpretive signs are readable in the exterior Street View photospheres I made, which form a virtual tour around the outside walkway..

The Eriksson Educational Center is a cozy room in the building that contains exhibits about the history of the building, the native fishery, invasive species, and research at the lake. It is portrayed in Street View with three linked photospheres.

The main interior of the building is usually not accessible but you can get an excellent view of it from the four photospheres of that room on Street View.

It is possible with a click on a chevron arrow to jump through closed doors and walls, so that every node on the tour can be reached starting from any given node. If you get lost, then consult the little guide window and drag the pegman to a different blue dot.

The building is formally known as the UC Davis Tahoe City Field Station, but many locals still refer to it as the Historic Fish Hatchery.
