The quality of engagement and education at this school is amazing, from the faculty I have spoke with and the students that I've met who are friends of theirs, everybody has been great. Both my sons are excelling and I'm very happy that they have ended up here.

Universal Academy is a great school if you want to your kids to be challenged and I know I do. I want all three of my children to grow up to be leaders that have happy lives and make lots of money. The teachers are incredibly nice along with the rest of the staff who are responsible and kind.

Universal Academy has made a big difference for our son. His grades are way better and he joined a club too. His teachers are so nice and patient and he is improving all of the time. This was the best decision we made for his education. Thanks!

My daughter has never excelled better at a school. This is her third and final school she will be attending. Her grades have drastically improved from the amazing teachers that really care about the students. They offer fun electives that she can engage in and have fun while learning a fun hobby as well.

Majority of the time the school is not focused on what is important. The assistant principal has the teachers to do her dirty work. She is very vindictive. On several occasions she has failed to resolve any issues concerning students. On several occasions while picking my child up I have heard several teachers talk to the students as if they were trash telling them they act like they have no common sense or yelling in a child’s face that they will embarrass them. My child was written up several times and harassed about his tennis shoes even so after having a meeting with the assistant principal and all his teachers explaining he would have new shoes by the end of the week. They agreed but in the next days to come they kept bothering him about his shoes or making comments to him about them which i did not understand if you all had already had a conversation with me in regards to the shoes. Also after the meeting i was made aware that the assistant principal told the teachers to “write him up everyday he comes to school with those shoes on” . Which was shocking because she did not say this in the meeting let alone to me. She just has the teachers do her dirty work. Even while in parent/teacher meetings she is always whispering to the teachers which is very odd and uncomfortable considering we are all in the meeting together obviously to speak and have open conversations. The curriculum is great at Universal Academy. The principle is also a very sweet and understanding women. There are def a lot of things that need to be worked on in this school though. There is a handful of teachers including the assistant principle (Ms.Plumber) in which i would not trust. This and many other reasons have caused me to go ahead and withdraw my 2 children. I also have a friend who withdrew her child early on in the school year for some of the same reasons!
