Federal Loan got approved for forgiveness yet I still owe to a company that can't even process the amount of questions they are receiving.

6.5% interest rate on a loan from over 10 years ago. My payments will never catch up with the interest being added each month or allow me to get out of debt. THANKS FOR NOTHING.

MOST TERRIBLE SERVICE. We could not reach anyone to talk to . The FAFSA applications and services are terrible. Even on April 3rd they are still not ready. Bidden lead leadership , Dr Miguel Angel Cardona.. failed leadership for the last 4 years.

I recently graduated from high school in 2020 mostly going to public schools, and this absolute joke of a federal department is comparable to one of an underdeveloped third-world nation. The US Department of Education is the root of so many problems with this country. They are single-handedly responsible for our nation's school shooting problem, high suicide rate among teens, homelessness crisis, racial zoning and modern-day segregation, drug abuse problem, child abuse and sexual violence, the skyrocketing price of college education, and poorly funded schools. No education takes place in US public schools, only political indoctrination and discrimination against racial minorities and people with intellectual disabilities. This unconstitutional bureau costs taxpayers over 1 trillion dollars annually, which mostly goes to the wallets of politicians in Washington and DoE bosses, with a small remainder paying for little to no school renovations of older schools and the critically low salaries of American teachers and school staff. As a Gen-Z autistic person, I hope this horrible organization gets bulldozed for maybe a new park in the Nation Mall or homeless shelter for the people of Washington DC. I pray that our divided nation and government can come together to destroy the biggest barrier to allowing all Americans, especially ethnic and intellectual minorities, from achieving the American Dream.

The FASFA website is incredibly slow and has many glitches. I am (for some reason) not allowed to sign into my account even after submitting the correct login information that I was given.

Also, the U.S. Department of Education needs to do better with giving educators better wages and fix school and daycare administrations all over the U.S. It's all a mess.

I feel like I have been dealt the MESSED up hand in life...

I have asked to get my child tested for Dyslexia and my other child GTA between 3 different states (Louisiana, Arkansas and Texas) for 3 years now and have been denied in each state, all school districts at every school. She is Dyslexic, has all the qualifying symptoms, has had recommendations from Special Education teachers and a Doctored educator whom actually conducts the Dyslexia Tests. My child could operate 12 different computers by the time she was 6 years old. While in school her Behaviors and class mannerisms: 'E's & 'S's. She passes Music, Art, Science and is ahead of her class in MATH. However, she mixes up the letters 'm & n. The manuscript letters 'p & q' are confusing to her. w, v, & y's look the same and still writes numbers and letters backwards. I have been in phone meetings, emails, letters etc.
She was a premature birth has had speech therapy.
These people just simply won't listen.

I have tolerated school, teachers and districts taking swipes at me with remarks that take issue with what race of man I decided to marry, lay down and have my children with. They gaslight, are accusatory, lie and yell at me over the phones. They falsifying records. They cyber bully by not allowing me access to their systems, have access to systems a manipulate information in those systems. They re-enrolled my children into school without my consent. But I stood focus on the goal- A Dyslexia Test for my baby.

These schools flunked my child because she cannot read (Arkansas) 2021-2022 school year without academic placement tests or Dyslexia test. Texas wanted to flunk my daughter AGAIN- this (2022-23) school year (FWISD). They want to hold my babe back in the 1st grade, 2 times. They are punishing my baby for being disabled or for being sick.

I have asked every school my children have attended for a Dyslexia Test and I have heard every freaking excuse in the book...

Caddo Parish, Louisiana (Brentwood Elementary)
Gave her a Speech Test instead of the Dyslexia Test.

Texarkana, AR (Trice Elementary)
They flat out refused and black listed me from receiving services for Dyslexia around town.

DISD (Medrano Hope Elementary Principal):
1."She needs to be disabled to get a Dyslexia Test".
2."She has to have prior delays such as speech therapy to be tested".

FWISD (Van Zandt Guinn Elementary Assistant Principal):
1. "We have a shortage of teachers all over the US".
2. "Teachers are not making enough money".
3. "Teachers are tired of being beat up and cursed out by students and parents".
4. "You have to go through a committee and the committee decides if your child gets a Dyslexia Test".
5. "We are short staffed."

My racial background (Creole/biracial), Homeless or a Billionaire, whether I clean with Ajax or Comet Cleanser... There will never be an excuse to abuse children and deliberately hurt a child.

I have filed complaints with The Office of Civil Rights with US Department of Education. Though they claim they are doing an investigation they block my appeals (refuse to make determinations) & investigation seems one-sided and biased towards the schools.

I discovered that my children (elementary students) were put into case study experimental programs without my consent that TEA (Texas Depart of Education) funds such as the MTSS Program. In Arkansas, while attending Trice Elementary, they threw my son into ESL when he speaks English but because he has a Spanish last name.

My son is a Miracle or a Genius. He has been reading since 4 months old. They paired him with Masters Degree & Doctorates Teachers and Instructors that teach GTA students and they have never seen anyone like him. 😊Boy could be another Nikola Tesla. They deny that testing too.

I don't wish no one to go through what I have gone through. But if you see any of these signs and symptoms, you are not alone. And I am praying for all.

Huge thank you for the termination of the Free College Benefit Program at Eastern Gateway Community College. Many people i know, working hard some of them risking their life on the daily basis working in prisons and as police to be able to get education that is unaffordable in the US otherwise. There was a place that helped these hardworking people and their family achive their dreams which the US Department of Education managed to destroy.
