This EMT class was a wonderful experience! The education we received made me feel like I would be ready for a career as an EMT. Alex was a phenomenal teacher. The education was great. the Instructors he brough in were all knowledgeable and incredibly helpful. Highly recommend this class to anyone that is wanting to be an EMT.

I just completed the Utah EMT Academy course. Alex and Riley were incredibly knowledgeable, approachable and clearly very passionate about EMS. It was also an incredibly engaging course, with the instructors making the course very entertaining and enjoyable.

If you're interested in taking an EMT course, do yourself a favor and take this one. You wont regret it!

My 19 year old son took the class and loved it which is why there are three stars. However, he isn't able to take his test and doesn't know why because they won't return his phone calls to let him know if they are running behind or if he didn't pass, he finished in December but still hasn't been able to get ahold of anyone to find out what's going on.

Edit : I can add photos of the messages and the picture of the of the number of times he called the school if you would like. I guess he will find another class since obviously he failed thanks for the response 😀

Class is fun, but waiting for a BLS certificate for 4 months now is a bit of a drag. I probably wouldn’t pay for stuff until you actually get it. They say there’s a late fee, but I think if they over extend the time frame of what you pay for, you should get your money back or not have to pay when a company or department can’t follow through. The whole class didn’t get their BLS certificate. I think getting your BLS certificate would be easier with the American Red Cross or another company that can give it to you within a few hours otherwise you could be waiting a long time through this academy. There are a lot of people taking the class after all. Overall, not a bad experience and I did learn a lot, however, time efficiency could use some work. Waited about 3 weeks for the NREMT to be approved. In the end, everybody experiences things differently. Alex is a first responder, so his schedule does get pretty busy. Alex has lots of knowledge, skills, and experience to share, and he explains things better than the book. There is a lot of reading, so make sure you stay on top of it.

Alex was a great teacher and had some great insight into being a first responder. He always took the time to answer any questions and explain the material we were learning. Passed my NREMT first try so he’s doing something right! Thanks Alex and Riley

Alex and Riley did a great job! I am glad Alex taught by the book and by experience. They gave me confidence to pass the NREMT exam. I will definitely be back for the AEMT and Paramedic courses once my brain can handle more reading, studying and assignments. There was so much information and I love the way Alex gave pertinent lectures, quizzes/assignments to prepare us for the NREMT exam. Skills night was awesome ending in an arm wrestle between to valiant guys lol! Absolutely love my classmates and the atmosphere! Thank you for a memorable course! Cheers!

This class was awesome. Alex taught everything you'd need to know as an EMT and prepared you for the NREMT. He spent time going over material and helping us to retain it so it made sense. Good atmosphere.

Super great class and even better instructor. He knows his stuff and is very good at dumbing stuff down and getting you prepared to take the National test. This class is also very interactive and informational. Would 100% recommend.
