*Very nice spacious city park. I was pleasantly surprised when I stumbled onto this place while trying to find somewhere to walk my dogs and waste some time. Surprised I was pretty much the only one there on a 60° Saturday in early April.
*There are bathrooms, however they were closed as it was still early-mid April at the time of my visit.
*Multiple playgrounds, swing sets etc for kids. Some are a bit worn or sun faded.
*Camping is available here for $10/night.
Plenty of walking trails available with some neat little bridges.
*There is a nice park shelter with grills and picnic tables available.
*There is a 12 hole disc golf course available to play.
*Overall, a very nice park. There was a good amount of trash on the ground, mostly fast food trash and beer cans. A few fences/post and wire areas in disrepair. If the city spent a few days really working on this park it could be in really great shape 👍đŸŧ

Really a unique and remarkable city park. It is fairly large really well shaded with mature trees. It has tons of picnic areas and shelters. Camping is alowed and has a bathroom/ shower building. It has some cool river crossing and a disc golf course. It has tons of older and newer playground equipment that is spread out.

A welcomed stop on a road trip. The picnic tables are set in great spots by the river, and interesting bridges made for good exploring. If we had more time we would have tried the trails. Playgrounds and bathrooms are a little dated - but the classic see-saw was the family favorite!

We thoroughly enjoyed walking around the park in the evening shade. Very nice modern bridge to cross the water, and we saw some paths I would have loved to explore, but aren't toddler friendly for my child. We were very impressed with this park.

Beautiful with trees and a River flowing through.
Has a trail about a mile long, which is nice, and a bit challenging at times, with a disc golf course.
We have an RV, so we pulled up to a picnic area and stayed 2 nights at $5 per night. It's primitive camping, but worth it because of the beauty.
Clean and well maintained.

Nice city park. Local traffic is heavy. We were there in January, and there were no bathrooms, no electricity, no water, and warm weather gave us sloppy wet muddy sites (they have on the entry side of the park 4 sites to choose from). It used to be free to camp there, but basically, you now get charged $5.00 a night to stay on their grounds. They claim to have bathrooms and showers, but they must lock these up in the 'off' season; no facilities were available to us. We didn't see any deer, but they were there in droves judging by the piles and piles of little balled excrement everywhere you walked. Dog owners didn't pick up either, so much to look out for on a stroll. They did have a very nice frisbee golf course set up, not just the flat course with turns but up wooded hills and down, looked fun. There is a large pavilion that can be rented. Three walking bridges that carry you over a rather nice little creek. This park is located just outside of town. The town itself offers you pretty much whatever you may need.

Great park, with play ground equipment, picnic tables, walking trails, disk golf course, nice restrooms with showers and RV parking but no utilities for $5 a night.
Very quiet and restful place to stay.

Cheap camping at $5 a night. Catfishing is REALLY GOOD. It's a hidden 💎 for a fishing spot. Caught and released many catfish over 5+ lbs.
