Just finished my CCW initial class with Valley Defense and all I can say is that I'm very happy I chose them. A group of outstanding people teaching what they love and what they are very good at.
They are what I call experts in their field.
Both days were filled with great information and hands on practical training.
I felt very safe and everyone was treated with outmost respect either in class or outside at the range hands on gun shooting and running drills.
This is a very well organized team of true professionals. I will soon register with them for other classes.
All my respect for Valley Defense team.

Top-notch instruction, great experience, and a wealth of industry knowledge.

I've taken a few courses from VDC these last few years and they stand out from the rest of the firearm instructors/schools that I've seen in the area.

With that said, I'm looking forward to taking more classes on a regular basis to fine tune my skills.

The class was very informative and the wealth of experience is apparent. The day on the range was productive and I learned a lot. If you have any concerns, the instructors are beyond understanding and I was happy to see them coach individuals who were having a hard time when we were out on the range.

I would definitely recommend coming with at least three magazines for every firearm you intend to qualify with. Its not even a suggestion really but a requirement because a lot of the drills involved having at least three magazines ready.

Also, if you're doing the initial course and just have one firearm, bring at least 250 rounds. The website says 100 rounds on the initial page but the issue was brought up in class and Vince stated they would fix it ASAP. In any case, Vince has ammo for sale available at the range, but its not extensive and I would highly recommend purchasing your own ahead of time.

Lastly I wanted to say their focus on safety was awesome and I'm glad I didn't go somewhere else. They do offer military discount if anyone was curious and I already recommended some of my family members to attend their CCW course. Hope someone finds this review beneficial and to sum it up, don't hesitate to sign up! You wont regret it.

The course and overall structure was very helpful, there was some challenges as there should be, but Vince(Owner/Instructor) and Dylan(Instructor) are experienced enough to recognize when guidance is needed.
