I have tried to speak to somebody in charge at the jail and surprisingly they have had no one of authority there for the entire weekend, from last Friday until 7:00 tonight,Mon., when a sergeant finally was scheduled. After talking to that sergeant it was clear that I was not going to get an answer to my question, hold on, that's not true, I did get an answer to my question, the answer was she does things in her own time and she's not going to explain that time to me. So there you go folks.
The website also says that they don't want an inmate/offender to leave the same person they came in as, that they are a rehabilitative facility. No, they're not, they have no programs available for the inmates/offenders. How can somebody change without rehabilitative classes/programs? I think we know the answer to that... I'm not trying to make waves but in fact just bring information to the public's attention.

Always have heard this is the worst county, but I have never met Sheriffs and County Jail personnel as respectful as this county. The sheriff was fair and treated me with dignity and respect. The jail staff was extremely patient and helpful.
