So Virginia City has become a bit of a tourist trap with loads of over the top schlock and overpriced everything. If you like that kind of thing - fantastic! I don't so much. However, if you find yourself there, Washoe Club is the bright spot. Tours are reasonably priced, the folks who run this historical business are incredibly lovely and the tour guide is phenomenal. These folks worked with me ahead of time to move my tour date tickets three times for various reasons and when I walked in, greeted me by name! That's impressive. The tour guide was not only personable but had a deep knowledge of local history and how the club impacted national events. If you're in it only for the paranormal, he's got you covered there too! Truly enjoyed the time at the OWC!

First time visiting the Washoe Club. This place is amazing! My family and I are paranormal investigators and have been wanting to visit for quite some time. We went on the tour and got to go up into the millionaire's Club. Our tour guide was so friendly and had so much knowledge the history of this building. I was even lucky enough to capture multiple orbs in my pictures.
My husband and I plan on going back in October for our anniversary and my birthday and doing the overnight tour, I can't wait! 🖤

The ghost tour was excellent, the history ofthe Washoe Club was super interesting. Our tour guide was very friendly and gave a lot of great info. Step into The Crypt if you dare, and be sure to leave an offering so the ghosts don't follow you home.

So today we went on this tour and it was such a thrilling tour! They showed us multiple rooms and we ended up capturing multiple photos on our phones! I recommend and take as many pictures as you can! We ended up capturing orbs in the crypt and near doorways! As well as taking pictures of the building outside like they recommended and saw two women standing in the windows! We also maybe captured the women in blue on the staircase very faintly manifested!

I had a fantastic time at the Washoe club, shout out to my tour guide Kimmy who was so sweet and funny! I miss her already. I felt very comfortable there despite some spooks occurring, like feeling someone follow behind me down the steps and picking up some voices on my phone recorder, and more! I am so excited to someday come back and spend more time in a city that has truly won my heart.

Great place to have a drink then do the tour. Keep in mind you can see the museum, spiral staircase, and stone room (crypt) in the back without doing the tour. Tour was worth the $10 but might be a bit unexciting for those that don't buy into the whole ghost/supernatural thing. If you are tight on time (or money) and aren't a Ghost enthusiast, you wouldn't be sorry you missed the tour but otherwise I'd say it's definitely in the top 4 things to do in this little historic town.

Tour guide was informative but definitely was catering to the Ghost Hunter Crowd but I refrained from asking hard questions in order to not impede on the other people's enjoyment. Kids in the group loved it. In the Winter, bundle up as the tour is in the unheated area of the building. Didn't eat here but bar service was great.

This place is packed with history, from legit bullet holes—about 25 of them still in the roof—to the eerie morgue overflow in the back, known as “The Crypt,” where 77 bodies were stored when the town was at capacity. The smell of burnt wood hits you as soon as you walk in, a lingering reminder that this bar survived the Great Fire that burned down the rest of the town. They’ve even got a blood orange beer that tastes fantastic. As the oldest bar in Virginia City, it’s absolutely worth a stop. Don’t let the broken glass or worn-down doors fool you—at first glance, it almost looks closed, but it’s open, and you won’t regret stepping inside.
