Post covid they’ve been doing construction and reorganizing the street vendor style food shops to better serve the community. Good food, a nice place to visit on the weekends. During the week days it’s more quiet and if you go there for the purpose of spiritual practice, that is the best time.
My dad and I used to play Thai music there during the weekends when people showed up to buy Thai street vendor style food. Sometimes there were performances from the Thai students to commemorate Thai religious holidays. Worth checking out. The lead monk came from Wat Thai North Hollywood to start this place up.

I visited this temple for Sunday Walking street earlier this year and had a lovely time chatting with the vendors, eating Pad Thai and Thai deserts, buying some fresh fruit to take home, and receiving a blessing and talking with the monk. Can anyone comment if the walking street is currently happening every Sunday?

My first time coming to this temple on a Sunday. I read some reviews before I came here so I know what to expect. From my route, the gps told me to exit right turn and make a U turn. When I turned right that was when I saw the temple was directly across the exit. Next time I will just drive straight from Hwy 142 instead making a right turn.

I was excited to try their food and explore the temple when I parked. Just drive all the way to the back and park. Plenty of parking.

When my friends and I went up to the token stall there was a sign saying members only for token. We were upset like omg we drive all the way and can't get tokens unless you're a member.

But don't just assume, we were upset because we about to turn back. We asked anyway and got our token. Yes you need to be a member which is free, and since they don't have the form, the nice man let us in anyway 🙂

I started out with $10 token but you will need more than that. By the end of the day our total was $40.

I came for the papaya salad and the pad see ew. We Waited for some good long time for the pad see ew...waiting for the lady to take our order. Well it doesn't work that way. If a customer doesn't told us we'd probably waited forever haha. Basically, you check mark your order down on a paper that they put in the box and handed it in with $5 token and just go sit down and wait and wait lol. For a good 15 mins I decided to check on my order to see if he has gotten to it and also so he know you've been waiting. I got my order within 30 mins.

The other food were quick to make. Pad See Ew was the longest to wait. There were singers on stage who announced they perform every Sunday and leave by 2pm.

I will come back to relax, to eat, to listen to music, and the traditional Thai music. Near the mountain view making it very peaceful and nice. Out of nowhere there was a small hut for the Father of this country. Native American Hut in the back of the parking lot. It shows respect and gratitude that the temple also pray and worship to the real owner of this country.

UPDATE: My birthday was on Oct. 19th and I went on Sunday 10/18/20 for some future praying and good luck. I got my reading and I love it! Hope it came true! #19.

Update 4/2022
Took a friend there to get the reading, I got another also. Again, I got #19.

UPDATE 4/2021: I carry my reading with me as good luck and I've been given many opportunities that I can't refused. I never really believe in faith or destiny but now I do.

I LOVE MY READING!! If I follow these opportunities, my hardship will be over. The missing cousins it referring to are people who are trying to give me opportunities. I do feel it, the older I get, the better life I will be in 🙂

We love the Sunday food market. There is always a lot of delicious food options often made to order. We were saddened to find our favorite Pad Thai stand had a RIP Mr. Yuth Phongwerakoun, I didn’t know him well, but from my limit interaction with him he was a very sweet, happy and friendly person. He will be missed.

Every Sunday 10 AM to 2 PM, they have a market selling Thai food. You need to purchase TOKENS before buying food. There were tables outside to sit and eat. Food were very delicious and cheap!! Like $3-$7 and more….

I just got my lunch over there. Very nice street market fulfilled with the Thai culture. I do favor the grass jerk milk and pad Thai noodles. But the Spring rolls just be fine. To be attentive, you will definitely have to wait a long time for the pad Thai noodles, approximately one or two hours at least. Well…you can get what you pay, including your time.

This Thai temple is in its early stages of construction. But, it has really good potential to become something very special in the future. It's also a pleasant surprise to see recognition given to Native Americans.

Food was really tasty and decent variety of it too!! Fried chicken, fried, pork, noodles, rice, drinks, desserts you name it. You exchange cash for tokens that is basically $1 = $1 token. You can exchange the token back to cash if you don't spend it all or I heard you can keep it until you use it next time. Not too crowded and plenty of space at the tables to eat at. Plenty of parking space too on their gravel lot.
