Out for a quick drive and brunch. The Nugget has always been a favorite. It appears to be in the process of a makeover. I personally enjoy the selection of machines both new and old. It's getting harder and harder to find old favorites to play. Enjoyed brunch at the cafe. The restaurant was quiet. The service was good..Our food arrived hot and fresh. Nothing over the top but a good filling meal.
After lunch we hit the floor for test our luck. As I mentioned above plenty of games old and new to enjoy. Unfortunately we didn't have any luck with waitresses for drinks and all the cash out machines were out of service. We did enjoy the weekend promotions!
Looking forward to more renovations Nugget See you soon!

This casino is over the top beautiful. I had not been inside in many, many years. My grandmother Nancy Burton worked and later managed the restaurant for about 17 years when it was the old Stateline Casino with the cowboy statue always waving. Anyway we didn't get a room there but the gaming was great and the food wonderful. I highly recommend you stop and spend a few hours.

EDIT: I spoke with the morning ladies about my experience and they were so apologetic. They asked me to write down what had happened to relay it to the casino manager. I wasn’t expecting nor requested anything at all, I just wanted them to know what had happened and speak with the lady who had serviced me the night before. I got a call from Octavio, the manager I believe, and he was so so kind and helpful! He even comped a room for me for my birthday in a few months which was unexpected and so generous. I hope the lady I met initially was just having a bad day because the casino itself and the rest of the staff were amazing!

I don’t usually do reviews but this is quite easily one of the worst check-in experiences I have ever had in my life. Not only was the price vastly different than what’s listed online (paid a total of $342 for a room priced at $189 even on the initial receipt in which all the fees could not be reasonably explained, however I believe this just due to the attitude of the lady that was helping me) but the woman checking me in all but called me stupid for not knowing that the room keys deactivate when placed near your phone or other cards I’ve been on a very long road trip with my sister and 2 young nieces and all I wanted to do was rest. I got to the 5th floor and when my card did not work, I called the desk to confirm my room number and she informed me of the tech barriers. I suggested her telling the guests so this could be avoided, she told me “normal guests don’t do that.” Be so for real
The rooms do not have actual blankets but rather what seems like 2 sheets stuck together? I called the desk requesting a comforter or even additional sheets where the already spiteful host told me there were non available. Really? Not a single sheet in this entire hotel?
The real kicker? The heater doesn’t work in room T534.
This is the probably thee worst hotel experience I’ve ever dealt with.

I was initially nervous about booking here due to negative reviews but also figured people are more likely to share their bad experience than their good ones. I had a unique experience I felt was worth sharing. I came for a girls trip (3 of us). During our stay we encountered an unknown male attempting to enter our room. We tried seeing if he was okay, and he proceeded to invite himself into our room, saying he just wanted to “hang out”. We luckily got him to stay out but he then tried opening our shared doorway (he was in the room next to us). We went to the front desk receptionist and spoke with Manerva and shared what had happened. Manerva didn’t hesitate to offer us a new room for no extra charge. We expressed feeling unsafe and she was quick to resolve the issue without us needing to press it. She was extremely professional and we all felt much safer being able to switch rooms after our weird interaction. Other pros: our room was clean and they allowed us to check in 30min early! Conveniently, there is a DJ and several food options on the main floor so you don’t have to leave the location.

We got a jacuzzi room that faced the atrium and it was awesome!!! Everyone seemed to be winning there too. I have terrible luck with gambling and I walked with $100 which was great for me!

Horrible!!! Rooms were disgusting. Glob of hair in the shower and shower head was falling off. The beds had sheets just thrown on and not tucked in and stains on sheets and comforters. Floor had questionable stains next to the beds. There is also an hole in the ceiling. Wallpaper peeling throughout the whole building. Hallways and floors look like haven’t been vacuumed in months. Construction is understandable, but at least have the other elevators well maintained. The toilet ran all night. All the way around is NOT a good place to stay.

Shut down the "remodeling" side. You can't keep renting out these rooms and have a busted elevator that people get stuck in. You should def have this side of the hotel just shut off. Not worth the bad reviews.
Poor lighting, mini fridge? Microwave?
Asked to switch rooms.
Just stood in front of 3 girls at check in with no line, put us on hold, never answered call.
Restraunt staff. The people at front of house that basically greet you when you get there. Don't even seem to want to be here. No hi. Hello. How ya doing. Looked miserable.

Only one cocktail waitress on gambling floor.
Cmon Nugget. Do better.

This had to be the worst two night stay and usually it's always been very good. The casino side of things outstanding but the hotel side this time around very disgusting. So first I woke up to use the restroom and there was a cockroach 🪳 in the bathroom. So I grabbed some tissue paper and got it. I took it to the front desk manager after that I had to go buy so cleaning supplies and disinfect the room. Next the bed was only made with a sheet nothing else and lastly in the hall way dirty bedding was just laying there for two days. I'm not sure if I will stay there anymore even though I love the casino side of things. Now to top it off i just found out they charged me a service fee of $46 for both nights. Like what the heck sorry that's just wrong. At least refund the $46 to my players card would be the right thing and good manager would do.
