Implying to children that not everyone is welcome because of the color of their skin, and THEN trying to justify it with a nondiscrimination policy, is unacceptable. This isn't the way to teach children to be kind to others and respect each other's differences! That poster you told the teacher to take down doesn't put down anyone of any race, nor does it make anyone of any race superior to another. It's saying everyone is equally welcome in the classroom! Why not stand by all your students of all races, ethnicities, backgrounds, etc. even when there's a chance that a parent disagrees with this message of inclusivity and complains about their child having positive interactions and relationships with other children who are not like them?

What a dishonor for anyone to have an issue with the teacher at the middle school that displayed affirmations for her students.She demonstrated how all students should feel seen and heard. I applauded her for making all her students feel validated and important. Shameful that politics are coming into play at schools around the country.Lady you are a great teacher and never forget it !

To insinuate that something saying "everyone is welcome here" is somehow encouraging illegal activities is ludicrous. Born and raised idahoan. I vote red regularly, and I hope we can all agree that we need to be more welcoming and kind!

When my children attended West Ada, the district ignored bullying and actually enabled the behavior.
We pulled our children out and moved to a safer district that actually takes bullying seriously.
I wouldn’t recommend this district at all. It’s not safe to send your kids here.

Attempted to communicate with staff about their racist policies and facist behavior. Not open to anyone's opinions but their own. Narrow minded, hateful and clearly communicating that they do not believe that every child deserves an education or that all people are created equal.

You told one of your teachers that a sign with pictures of white hands, black hands, and hands of many people of color was needed to be taken down at your school.

The words on the sign were:

"EVERYONE IS WELCOME HERE."

I go to owhyee high school and I was kinda scared since I am a freshmen but realizing all the bathroom stalls have bad stuff written all over the place also my school is so strict about everything that you can't leave to go to the bathroom or even water because well i don't know why. Also they dont update schedules until the last second giving kids pressure. The rudeness of the teaches are outstanding. The principal just lets the school decay and it's only less than 4 years old and it's being trashed. I have been a west ada student since 2021 and I can tell the difference by a lot. Do not recommend. So being in Idaho for most of my life it's sad to leave but I just can't find decent schools in the whole entire treasure valley.
