My daughter has been attending here since she was 8 or 9 months. She is now 3. I have nothing but great things to say about her teachers. I know they genuinely love what they do and care for my daughter. She took the summer off and when we are in the area she says, "Mom, that's my school. I want to go to my school." They are very communicative, affordable, and of great quality. I also appreciate that I have seen the same faces for 3 years.

My children went to this daycare last year and did drop ins at times. They loved their breakfast and the summer field trips they did. The lunch of Fridays was always something they looked forward to. Would take them back. Ms. Laura always communicated with me and worked with me during drop ins.

Wonderful experience. My son started attending Whitehills when he was 12 weeks old. I am a first time mom and had loads of questions and requests and they were very attentive and kind and never made me feel like I was annoying them -although I probably was at times 😉 Laura, the manager, was always very helpful and the caregivers, Mildred and Lucy, were fantastic.

So there are 2 managers, Ms Laura and a very sweet lady unfortunately I can’t remember her name right now. Everytime I call in check, this lady gives me full details of what my child has eaten, how many naps etc. however on this day, just a week into her starting here, I called Ms Laura who had just returned from a break to ask about my child and after muting me for about a min she says ‘she’s good’. 15 minutes later I was called to come pick her up. Apparently she had thrown up 3ce and the caretaker who witnessed it wasn’t in when Ms Laura supposedly checked. Tell me why 5 mins later. I met a child that was so weak that she could not sit, was throwing up bile, refused breastmilk(never happened) cos she was so weak and was only given water once! She was dropped off at 9 and this was almost 3pm. If she had truly checked 15 mins ago she’d have seen that this child was not okay. She literally was a a caregivers lap with a thrash can infront of them cos she had been throwing up back to back. Like that was not bad enough, nobody followed up with my child even though they knew we left for the emergency and she didn’t make it to school the next day! They eventually called almost a week later not asking about her well-being but to tell us we were gonna lose our slot. I ABSOLUTELY DO NOT RECOMMEND.

A great daycare run by really nice people. My young daughter loved her instructors. My older daughter had after school care during the school year, and full car during the summer, both were great. During the summer they had weekly field trips. The owner is super sweet and the cost is very reasonable.

So far great experience.. my baby has been there for 3 weeks now. She is 16 months. She seems to be taken a good care by them. Being home only with me all her life and going there got her sick with runny nose and cough. However when my husband goes to pick her up, her nose is always clean. She is always found around the teacher who r helping her adjust the new environment. I dont know the name of all the teachers yet as I have to rush to work but I often talk to laura through out the day she updates about her calmly. Thank God it was a good choice sending her to whitehills:)

Hi parents, if you are looking for a safe nurturing environment for your children I do not recommend this facility. My son used to go to White Hills and I am now ready to share our experience in hopes that this doesn’t happen to anyone else’s children. I received a phone call from the office, I was informed that my son had a low-grade fever so I said I’ll be right there to pick him up. At the end of the conversation she began to tell me that my son also was not using his arm and was expressing discomfort with his arm. I was originally just feeling confused because those two things are unrelated and I wasn’t sure why they didn’t lead in with the fact that my son couldn’t use his arm. Upon arrival I was not greeted with an incident report instead I was taken back to a classroom full of other children where my son was sitting and they were trying to give him sweets so he would stop crying. When I ask them what happened she told me she thought it could have happened in his sleep. (Not likely) She also said it could have been when he was swinging on the cubbies and the teacher had to get him down (this was all new information to me). I wanted to seek a professionals advice before making wild assumptions but it didn’t sit well with me that she called and told me he had a low-grade fever for basically no reason when really my son was injured at their school and nobody knew for sure what happened apparently. I took my son to children’s Medical Center to find out that he had a fracture in his elbow, as well as it being dislocated. I was informed that it was not likely the story given was what actually happened to my baby given the amount of trauma on his arm. It was a very traumatic experience for him to have nurses putting his elbow back in place and the x-rays were scary it was a nightmare. Not to mention the financial position it put me in having to take him out of school and stay home with him for that time being. It caused a lot of stress for our family. I called White Hills the next day and requested an incident report and had laura email it to me. His name wasn’t even spelt correctly on the report, just overall not an organized facility. I know their intentions were not pure because from the beginning she should’ve called me and directly told me my son had an incident at their facility and wasn’t able to move his arm. I should have been greeted with an incident report and someone should’ve been able to tell me exactly what happened to my baby and at what time. I asked to see the footage and Laura (the lady in the office) told me that would be fine only to call me back to tell me the cameras aren’t recording and that they can only be seen in real time. But it’s weird because when I had an investigator come to check they were told that the cameras had been broken since the winter storm. So which is true that the cameras don’t record or the cameras are broken? There was a few other signs about this facility that bothered me that I overlooked because I thought that he was comfortable there, When he was in the infants room I had multiple situations where the teacher made me uncomfortable and or would make snide comments about the clothes or shoes that I would bring him in. I brought him in little soft lumberjack boots one time for the class photo and as I was walking out I heard her talking to my son telling him come here boy let me fix your plastic shoes in a very sarcastic manner. I talked with the owner Bill about it and he told me nothing would ever happen like that again, I trusted them with my child safety and they neglected to handle the situation accordingly. I made a mistake in trusting them and my baby had to suffer because of it, I just hope other parents don’t choose to do the same with this facility.

my daughter has been here since she was six weeks old. we absolutely love the daycare. All of the staff are wonderful and have a great relationship with my child! my daughter is now two and can count to 10 in English and Spanish and say all of her abc's. She is very advanced for her age with a huge vocabulary and I give all the credit to the daycare staff as they spend more time with her than I do as I work full time. she brings home a weekly folder of everything she does and is always so excited to show me everything she has worked on. Marcella is absolutely wonderful in the 2yo class. I wouldn't move my daughter even if I moved jobs. Someone has stated about calling the state over a child eating powder donuts and poptarts... seriously? Every morning when I drop off my daughter they have something different for breakfast. from biscuits and gravy to cereal, toast, oatmeal etc... I highly recommend whitehills! mr. bob, Sandra, laura, alexsis, toni, Marcella and keyanna have all been a big part of my daughters life for the past 2 years! she loves them and they all love her 🙂
