This was not the first time I had an unwell bird brought to this organization but it was the first time I brought one in myself.
Staff has always been professional and friendly on the phone. Nice facility—I was only able to view the outside courtyard area because of the pandemic. Easy street parking.

I called ahead and brought in an emaciated, female Bufflehead who couldn’t fly. After filling out a form at the entrance, I pushed the Ring button and someone came out right away to take in the poor bird. I received an ID number for the bird to check in on her status later. It was nice to visit with all the birds housed in the outside courtyard area. They are all beautiful. I was lucky enough to see a female Spotted Owl sleepily resting on a branch. Usually they are hiding during the day (I was told). Overall great experience and very glad this organization exists to help injured or sick wildlife.

I took a wild bird that I found with the two broken legs. A friend amputated the broken part, he was doing good but I thought they would take care of him better than I was. Didn't happen they put him to sleep. When I brought the bird to them I told them that if couldn't take care of him, I was willing to take him back. When I call the same day they told that they him to sleep, I am heart broken. I had him a week and half. I really regret that took him there, 😕 sad very sad.

These knowledgeable, friendly, and compassionate staff are doing incredibly valuable work. Bring your kids to see animals you would otherwise not be able to get so close to, learn a lot, and expose them to people working hard to help other creatures. Try to be there during the pelican feeding time. It's pretty cool.

I spoke with WildCare about an injured pigeon I found and brought him to them the next day. I spoke with three different people on the phone, all who were very nice and helpful. The location is beautiful and the staff I spoke with there were also nothing but nice and helpful. Seems like a really great place doing really important work.

A small looking sanctuary for injured birds in various recovery stages. Very educated and informative staff takes excellent care of these wild birds and are generous with their knowledge and time. Notifying them that you'd like to visit with your family is the way to go. We brought them an injured humming bird and they worked hard on helping it survive.

Last Saturday we came home to find an injured bird at our back door. We didn't know what to do, but were referred to Wild Care and we bought in this bird into them and they were all super awesome. It's an amazing space with a number of rescued animals and birds there and the organization does so much else including teaching at schools. Very great place!

The wild care team was very helpful and caring for the injured pigeon that we had to bring in. Not many places take pigeons so it was good to know that the little guy was going to get the care he needed.
