Every time I go here it’s a great time! We did the Valentine Gnome painting and bottomless mimosas!! The artist goes at a pace that everyone in the class can keep up with. I would say about half way through they do fun drawings where you can win different prizes based off of the painters names located on the bottom of your seats! I recommend!

This review is based upon my own experience. I went on a Sunday morning at 11am. I enjoyed the experience of painting with a friend. We had Groupons and were excited to go.
I did not enjoy waiting 30 minutes for other participants to show up (not communicated), the Pina Colada was not good to me, having to pay for water to drink, not being able to refresh the water for the brushes but it was ok for a Sunday afternoon activity... The prices for snacks were super reasonable. The young man in the front needs Customer Service training.

I have attended wine and painting classes in the past, but unfortunately, this one fell short of expectations. I am by no means an artist, nor do I have any prior experience with painting or drawing, so I approached the class as a complete beginner.

The class was scheduled to begin at 6:30 PM but started approximately 30 minutes late. The room was set up with long tables, making the space feel somewhat cramped for a class of about 20 participants. Each person was given a small Dixie paper plate with standard paint colors—red, blue, black, green, orange, white, yellow, and purple. However, the reference image featured neon-like colors, which were not provided. Additionally, each participant received a single cup of water for four brushes, and the instructor advised that the water did not need to be changed. This was surprising, given the significant contrast between dark and light colors in the painting. For wiping excess paint and water, we were given a single thin napkin similar to those from McDonald’s, which was replaced only three times during the session. Many participants, myself included, resorted to using the table covering or even their aprons to clean their brushes.

The ambiance was pleasant at first, with background music playing, but it quickly became an issue as it muffled the instructor’s voice over the microphone, making it difficult to hear instructions. The class initially progressed well, particularly during the sky portion of the painting. However, the small plates provided little space for proper color mixing. Our group requested an extra plate for mixing, but it was never received. The painting began with a black base on two halves of the canvas, which resulted in murky water. This became problematic when transitioning to highlights and gradients with lighter colors, as brushes remained tainted from the dark water. Without an option to refresh the water, many participants struggled with color accuracy. A simple water station or dump bucket for those who wanted to change their water would have been a helpful addition.

The class included a break that was scheduled to end at 8:10 PM but ran long due to an activity where participants spun a prize wheel. While this was a nice touch, it cut into valuable painting time. When the class resumed around 8:30 PM, the instructor rushed through the remaining steps at an overwhelming pace. At one point, I found myself two steps behind, struggling to follow along. The biggest issue became apparent—the painting we were recreating was not an original piece created by the instructor but rather a screenshot of an Amazon tapestry. This meant the instructor was attempting to replicate it in real-time, rather than guiding us through a painting he had prepared in advance. As a result, the process became disorganized, and by the end, I opted to improvise rather than attempt to keep up with the rapid instructions.

Overall, for $30, it was a “you get what you pay for” experience. While the instructor was friendly and clearly knowledgeable, I feel the class would have benefitted from a properly pre-painted reference piece, better supplies, and a more structured approach.

This was out first time here. It was a surprisingly comfortable and cool space. Lots of art on the walls and funny pictures and clever posters. The drinks were priced very fair. The mother and daughter team did an excellent job hosting the event. Everybody had fun. The art lesson was very well organized.

Because it was Sunday, I wanted to switch up my usual uneventful day . My mom is visiting, so I always love introducing new things to her. Both of us have never done anything like this before, so we were both excited to try something new!

The place is family owned. The artist with 25 plus years of experience is the daughter. The bartender is her mom 😊 Mom is also the assistant and comedian ( a great sense of humor)
The artist was very patient, and you can tell that she definitely loves her job. She's a natural born teacher ! While teaching us how to paint, she also walks around the class to assist the novice "artists" like myself, 😂 She made me laugh as I constantly criticized how my sunflower looked like a volcano or California bush fire! She laughed and said, "Don't be so hard on myself. I said thank you, but I know a fire when I see one, and that was definitely NOT a sunflower. " LOL (see pictures below)
For the drinkers, you have the option of bottomless mimosas, cocktail, and wine menu. Along with lots of snacks. They also played games , so you had the opportunity to win prizes. Great music, too!

Oh- ask about their punch cards, too. For every ten punches, you get a free class.

Overall , it was a fun experience, and surprisingly, it was very relaxing.
I'll definitely be telling my friends!

As always, I'll be back in my Arnold Schwarzenegger voice 😌

So.... We've been twice now. Wanted to give it a second shot before I reviewed this establishment. Sometimes people have off days... so the benefit of the doubt....but that didn't seem to be the case here.

So... where do I begin. The decore is cute. Some of the painted walls are entertaining... lots of sample painting on the walls & in the bathroom... makes the inside quite unique. Both times we has the same instructor & assistant (her mother). Unfortunately, this is where the experience goes off the rails. The instructor tells you if you want any colour just ask... they have them all. So when I asked the assistant (on my first visit) for some pink... I was told to mix red & white. I said, but she said you had all colours. The mother stated, yeah fine ill go look through hundreds of colours for you. That wasn't the response I was expecting. On our second visit, I asked the mother for pink and she said very snidely, oh now I remember you... I looked at her shocked 😲... that made me feel so bad & uncomfortable... I told my husband who was there with me...and he was not impressed... not a great way to start the second session. The instruction itself is fine... She gets ya through the painting process... However, my suggestion would be.... either clean your brushes better before you set them out for others to use... OR have separate brushes for people who use glitter. The very first step is to dampen your canvas... unfortunately, the brush I was given was covered in glitter & I wasn't aware until my canvas was covered in glitter... Yuck! Not what I wanted... and for the price I wouldn't have expected such lack of care. Plus, it wouldn't hurt if the dollar store paint brushes were replaced a little more often. Unfortunately, if you want to be precise you won't be with these brushes.

Overall it wasn't a horrible experience... I've had far better & way more professional... So for those reasons we will not return & won't be recommending this particular painting experience.

This was a girls outing for my group of 4 and we rocked it. Had a great time and a few laughs. They have a bar with drinks to purchase. They are groupon friendly. The painting was a hit with my family. Would highly recommend for anyone who would love to hangout and do something different. I will more than likely return for another paint project ❤️

Such a fun place for a date night or just a night out with friends. The step by step instructions are easy to follow & by the end, your painting actually looks something like it's supposed to! It's a really good time!!
