I was in an extremely mentally and emotionally abusive relationship for 3.5 years. There was also some physical abuse too. I finally decided I had enough of it and wanted out. I came to WDVS to help me through the process and help give me security in my safety while doing so. They provided help in getting a TPO (temporary protection order) and providing a safe place to go until the TPO was served, and I can go back to my home. Fun fact, if you're renting with your abuser and you're both on the lease, take that TPO paperwork to your landlord, and they will more than likely remove your abuser from the lease and leave you on it, no questions asked. That's what my landlord did. I'm very thankful for WDVS and all the help they provided me in a desperate situation. I am no longer with my abuser and doing better. I am sharing my story so that I can help others who are in a similar situation. For anyone who's reading this, that's in a DV situation, you deserve to live a happier life free from abuse. Please don't hesitate to come here for help to remove yourself from that negativity. Trust me, I understand how difficult and scary it is to make this decision, but if I can do it, you can do it. It will absolutely be worth it in the end. ❤️

When you need help you may not have bruises or other injuries sometimes you can be mentally and emotionally and need help what would happen if that person said they didn't want to die would you call them back like yo u said or just say I didn't see any physical signs they need to help everybody not pick and choose who's case is worst than someone else either you help those in need or don't put it out there we can help you call us if you need to. I know what domestic violence is and it not just beat up some scars you just can't see and very dangerous to a person who's thoughts are racing we all have a right to tell our side to bad they didn't give a good enough answer so I wrote a review
