I couldn’t ask for a better daycare/school! The teachers and staff all truly care about the kids and go the extra mile every day. My kids always come home happy and well cared for. The curriculum is excellent and there is a different activity every day including arts, gymnastics, Spanish, music and theatre. We saw a huge improvement in my older son’s speech after he started attending here. They learn so much. So lucky to have this school! Thank you for all that you do, Wonderland!

We love Wonderland. The teachers are really warm, kind, and knowledgeable. My youngest is in Children's House and absolutely loves his teacher (Ms. Ayu) and going to school every day. He's learned all kinds of things as well as grown in confidence and independence since we started at Wonderland a year ago. He is 4 and came home the other day naming all of the continents!

The school also does a great job with school aged kiddos. They provide lots of fun, engaging activities during after school hours and in the summer. This is important to me because it means my son enjoys his time there.

We have a really good experience with the school pre-pandemic, but the new head of school and teachers says they had tons of experience and the kids happiness was their priority. In my opinion they have really limite knowledge to deal or help each individual kids. If the kids doesn't follow their standard seems to be a huge problem for them. My son has hard time to adapt and needs extra support but they don't have the time or staff to do it. Our last meeting they openly suggested my son has neurological disorder, without an appropriate professional evaluation, just because they can't connect with him. He was evaluated by a therapist, and his pediatrician and nothing is close to that fake diagnostic they gave us. The only thing they did was causing a lot of stress in our family. All their PT meetings we have highlighted what our son was not achieving instead of focusing in what he learnt, we always make us feel something was wrong with him, which is NOT true.

My husband and I completed a tour of the facility in hopes of taking our child to Wonderland after I would return to work from maternity leave in July of 2018. While the facility is new, kept well clean, and has proper security features such as cameras in the classrooms and playgrounds, we both felt very unsettled after leaving and we knew upon exiting the facility that we would not be taking our child to this location for childcare.

Our decision came down to 3 main points:

1- Upon from arrival to departure we felt it was complete and utter chaos where the facility and staff lacked structure. Not only was the tour rushed and not very structured by the assistant director, but we felt many of our questions were not completely answered and skirted by the assistant director possibly due to the facility being so new and her time with the company being so short? This is something she explained to us instead of offering to connect us with another more knowledgeable individual.

2- I felt the most unsettled when we were shown the infant rooms where there were children with teachers overseeing but doors were wide open to a busy hall where many other parents and children were coming and going. Also, in the room where the newborns were kept the teacher supervising had her child of 3- 4 years of age running and playing amongst the babies on the floor, in bouncers, and in swings. When asked what the age restrictions of older children being allowed around newborns and babies 0- 6 months, the question was more avoided and justified by saying the older child was the teachers own child instead of seeing the liability of having a rambunctious 4 year old running and sliding into babies playing on the ground..

3- The last point we found concerning was while it seemed security getting to the classroom areas and children seemed secure, there was a lack of security once you got into the hallway with all the classrooms. We witnessed several parents going from classroom to classroom looking for their child's belongings while the teachers and children were in the gym and not present in the classrooms. While we hope honesty is the best policy, I felt this would be the exact situation where someone's possessions could be stolen or go missing. Again, not sure if this was more of a security issue or lack of structure and organization by the staff working.

As long as the Head of School, Laura, and executive director, Shannon Blackwell, are employees with wonderland-I would highly advise to look elsewhere. They are not people who carry a lot of integrity and they also do not operate for the children…everything starts from the top down and it is very apparent. Laura will say it’s all about the children, however provides zero support for the teachers to provide the environment demanded by the Montessori method and zero communication from her. There are apparent financial issues wonderland cannot seem to figure out…what they are aiming to be, will not survive in the location they are at. If you’re looking for an AMI Montessori—Southlake Montessori is a much better atmosphere and head of school to be in your childrens lives.

Being at WMA-Trophy Club has been incredible. My wife and I love it, and our son loves it. He's smiling when we drop him off and smiling when we pick him up. He seems to get a lot of dedicated attention and has made rapid progress there (e.g., sitting up, walking, talking, and so on). They teach Spanish, sign language, and other things that we couldn't give him at home. The school itself is extremely nice and new and has a lot of activities for the kids. It's safe, secure, and more. The staff are friendly, responsive, and communicative. I really cannot say enough good about this place. STRONGLY recommended.

Our son was 3 years when he joined Wonderland. This school was the first school we toured and were immediately impressed with the attention each child gets from the teacher, setup of the classrooms and the way children interact with each other. Its almost a year now and we are so glad that we made this choice.

My four year old son is going to this school since September 2017 and we are very pleased with his performance. His social skills have improved already and has learned to read, add, subtract and a little bit of multiplication. They have the best facility we've seen and our son is a big fan of riding the train!
