Truly beautiful facility and normally very excellent staff. After trying the child watch again (First time for my three-year-old) so I would peek and check on him and spotted the caregiver pulling him away from a toy by his shoulder roughly because it wasn’t for his age? No other child was playing with it so that is just a guess as to why the forceful removal… he was not damaging anything. I didn’t see her try to verbally ask him first, which he is very good at listening normally, even though he’s a quiet guy himself. When I asked her about it, she said she was trying to get him to play with the other kids….. ?Spending $30 for a drop-in/trial day (That was the price for a drop in visit for me to use the gym and him to be in childcare) After seeing that we left right away… it had barely been 40 minutes. And he had a very dirty diaper that I wasn’t notified of…. I understand things can happen, but this was very disappointing to witness/experience… This is literally the only option in the valley for a gym with childcare so this was very very disappointing…. Glad we did a trial run before we got a membership. (I understand mistakes happen and I don’t want to put her on a spotlight by naming her here, but to the managers, her name began with the letter L and she was older than 40 with black hair). I hope some reconciliation can happen because like I said, this is literally our only option in the valley for childcare at any gym.

I'm an out of town visitor. I was so pleased to hear for a nominal fee I could shower here. Staff was super friendly and facilities were clean and water hot and untimed. Much appreciated!

Really fun pool but I wish the splash pool was open longer cus us kids are out of school on Saturdays and sundays

Just moved here from Boise, been climbing for 3 years now. I would’ve thought coming to a resort town in the mountains of Idaho, the climbing amenities would’ve been great.
They are such an afterthought between the lack of a route setting schedule, old holds, amid unmarked finishes. The hangboards and campus board are shoved in a corner and you could roll an ankle if you fell off wrong, if you didn’t scrape yourself on the sandpaper wall adjacent. The V5’s are V3’s and the V0’s are V2’s. The moonboard is the only slight plus. Could’ve been a Kilter.

This place is absolutely ridiculous. My wife took my little two boys to swim and a lifeguard came and told my wife her swimsuit is inappropriate and possibly see-through. My wife called me at work crying because of how embarrassed he made her feel. Her swimsuit had 3 layers to it and has worn this suit multiple times. I can attest that her suit is not see-through. What gym/pool employee has the audacity to do that to a female playing in the pool with her boys, let alone ruin any confidence to go back to the pool? Maybe the Y should reconsider their training for their employees.

Climbing gym was clean but routes in cave were terrible. Starts and Finishes were unclear and made no since. Tape was all over the ground and falling off. Some routes had no start or end - (no tape anywhere). Had a bad experience because i couldn’t even climb a route without knowing if i did it right. Wouldn’t come back!!! - only good part was the teenager working seemed pretty chill and cool
