I am never short of words but even I am struggling to convey how absolutely AMAZING the Wildcraft party we have just had with James for our little boy’s 8th birthday party was. Even his 16 year old brother said it was the best party he’s ever been to and praise doesn’t come any higher than that!! James is brilliant with the kids, the kids all had the most amazing time and reports from parents have been that their children loved it and that they all want their next party with James! Kids being kids, fresh air, back to nature (with a modern twist) literally perfect.
Thank you so much James - we’ll be seeing you again for sure!

I attended the Wild Game & Outdoor Cookery course, I can highly recommend it. The course was very informative with knowledgeable tutors. We eat the food we prepared and it was very tasty. It was very enjoyable doing this with a group of like minded people, in a very beautiful secluded location.

I attended the woodland classroom with very little prior knowledge and not really knowing what to expect, by the end of the day I was fully onboard with the ethos and thoroughly enjoyed the whole experience. Had it been just foraging then I could imagine that I may have struggled as there is so much to take in as a complete beginner, however, the balance of foraging then cooking and eating what had been prepared made the whole day a brilliant experience. I am committed to following this up with a spring time day. James was most engaging and knowledgeable.
Definitely a day to remember especially if you enjoy the countryside and all it has to offer.

Absolutely fantastic time Wassailing at Park in the Past on January 13th! I came with my friend and our 3 children and we all had an amazing time! James and Lea were both very knowledgeable, friendly and welcoming. The atmosphere was amazing and the activities were great and just as entertaining for adults and children. Singing, marshmallow toasting, delicious apple cake, lantern making and chasing away bad spirits. Whats not to love?!We had an absolute blast, thankyou both so much! We will definitely be booking other events with you in the future. WASSAIL!?

I recently joined Woodland classroom for a Wassail event - this was my first experience of meeting the team, but from start to finish the event was absolutely brilliant. Really well organised, with extremely friendly, welcoming, and knowledgeable hosts. The event was really enjoyable for both adults and children alike with elements that all could enjoy. I'll certainly be looking for further events from Woodland Classroom, and definitely recommend it as a fun way for all the family to enjoy the outdoors and learn something new!

What a wonderful experience! My boyfriend and I took part in the woodlands Autumn foraging course and my brain now feels full of knowledge! I feel much more confident with mushrooms and am totally fascinated with how available other wild foods are. Thank you James and Dave for being so engaging and sharing your passion with us. We had a fantastic winter foraging morning with James. It was so good to learn about the wonderful offerings from nature right around us that we would ordinarily walk past with little appreciation. The session was pitched and organised really well for a broad audience, with plenty of opportunity to discuss and ask questions, and James had clearly worked really hard to plan and prepare for the session for us. Whether you want to become a serious forager or simply just to learn more about our beautiful surroundings with likeminded people, I would highly recommend this course. ?

Thank you so much James and David for a great day: relaxed, informative, and fun ... and I didn't have to cook that night! I was inspired, and the very next day found the last of the local elderberries and made a very nice warming syrupy beverage.
