My son, Ian Winchester has been with WTC for over 20 years. He is non-verbal or would write this himself. He has always enjoyed going out the door to be with his friends and staff. Ian has made long term friends with staff that are present there now and those that have been in the past. Of course, the pandemic interfered with his being at the Joe McGhie Center, but staff has worked diligently for a high needs program to be in place. It now is, under the name of Mosaic. Ian is happy to be there and is having his needs met with a pleasant staff. He is able to go on community outings such as bowling and participates in the BEWEL program at Chico State. He goes to Butte Humane Society and does volunteer work with his Direct Service Person that assists him. This staff also helps with his communication system which is very helpful to him. They have established a relationship with Butte Humane that allows them to bring a trained dog to Mosaic once a month. Ian presents the dog on his communication device and the clients interact which brings smiles to everyone's face.

The WTC programs are very beneficial to my son and to other clients. My son is an active participant in the work training center programs that help him with his motor skills and communication skills. The WTC program helps my son to have social skills with the public. My son is also active in the various types of outings that are put on by WTC.

I Will never go there again and I'm telling all my friends about the terrible service I have received numerous times. If you enjoy being yelled at, and you like extremely unorganized businesses then this place may be OK for you.
Every time I go there there's about 20 people working and no one is accomplishing anything. It's utterly filthy and the employees are extremely rude.
Not worth it. The people working there are absolutely are lucky to even have a job. they need to start being more respectful and treat the public kindly
