Mike the club owner runs an outstanding school alongside his highly talented instructors, Tad Talbot and Anna Zavrazhnova which I’ve had the honor to train with.

I completed my first 40 hours of training at XL Aviation and have no regrets, planes are well maintained, safe, and filled with fuel when I arrive. The community and camaraderie at XL is unparalleled, plus whichever kind of pilot you aspire to be from hobbyist to want to be airliner or even aerobatic/tailwheel enthusiast.

I love XL!! I came to here after taking a 5 year break in getting my PPL, and I was immediately back up in the air! Anna is an amazing person and incredible CFI who taught me to be a safe, proficient, and confident private pilot. Mike, the owner of the flight school, was always there helping me stay motivated and giving great tips and encouragement. The planes are well maintained, and there is always a lot of flexibility in scheduling lessons (sometimes I had to fly before or after work). No matter your aviation goals, XL can help you get there! I’m excited to keep learning from the great community at XL! Highly recommend them.

I began taking flight lessons here back in 2021 with their Cessna fleet. I went from new Student Pilot to Private Pilot and Instrument Rated in about one year. Whether you want to take a slower path or faster path, be a hobby pilot or have aspirations to be an airline pilot, XL caters to both. I'm currently now at college with aspirations to be an airline pilot, and without XL none of this would be possible. XL is also a great community of pilots with tons of experience from all around the industry. If you're thinking about starting flying, shoot them an email and grab an intro flight, you will not regret it.

Great school and great instructors. Came in with zero hours and got my private pilot certificate within 3 months. Also received my instrument rating, commercial single and multi engine, as well as CFI. Also got to learn aerobatics and tail wheel flying along the way. I am very happy with my decision to come to XL aviation for all my flight training, and would recommend to anyone wanting to do flight training.

Had a great, professional experience today. Excellent instruction matched with a very nice Pitts aircraft. The Pitts intro flight was incredible!! Highly recommend the experience for pilots wanting to safely explore aerobatics. Lastly, the flight was a dream come true, something I've always wanted to do!
