Yanks Air Museum in California at the Chino Airport is a terrific air Museum with over 200 historic aircraft!
Great for a friend's or family visit !

I just spent three hours at this museum. That felt like the right visit length. I consider two hours to be the minimum for a proper visit. The restored aircraft, vehicles, and other artifacts are pristine. Their team does a superb job bringing them back to life. But my time aimlessly wandering around the boneyard was the most memorable for me. This organization is a treasure. It is a great place to visit for kids of all ages. Good gift shop, too.

Amazing experience walking around the hangers!! Everything from the Wright Flyer to a Blue Angel F18! The WWII aircraft are amazing and you don’t see them everywhere. I hope they can continue to refurbish the aircraft in their hanger. Pretty cool walking around the boneyard as well, not many places allow that. I cannot recommend this place enough to every aviation enthusiast.

A beautiful facility with very kind people. Amazing planes and other vehicles, lovingly restored and an unbelievable amount of gems and rare finds.
This place is truly special, and if you love engineering, airplanes, engines, history and/or military toys then you really need to experience Yanks Air Museum.

This is a fantastic air museum with a lot to see and do and is rarely crowded. The planes on display are amazing. The staff here are very friendly and knowledgeable about the aircrafts on display and many are volunteers.

Though a small museum, they have a large variety of aircrafts. Including a Wright brothers replica, including an F-18 Blue Angel and combat veterans such as f-15 and f-14.

My family also loved the outdoor portion with the "bone-yard" where they have whole aircrafts to be salvaged or repaired---some of them still carry the lasting battle scars of their service!

This museum also has great events for families like the Easter event each spring.

And if all this isn't enough for your rowdy bunch, there are children's rides (helicopters, airplane, carousel) AND arcade games for kids.

For our family, this is a little known gem of chino and I fully recommend.

One of the best aviation museums I've been to if you're just looking for planes. Short on ancillary exhibits, but that's okay because I'm here for the planes. The restoration hangar is opened to the public for a walk though along with the boneyard...really cool.
