My exchange was incredible!!! The amount of reassurance and helpful information I received from YES Canada to help me prepare for my exchange it left me feeling very confident and ready for my adventure. I was greeted by my host family at the airport with a lovely sign and bright, big smiles and from that moment I knew I was going to fit right in and feel very welcome. Withing the first few weeks I had experienced many adventures. I went snowboarding with my host mom, on incredible bike rides with amazing views, I had been immersed into Germany culture in their home and school and just had the most incredible time with them over all. They were so welcoming and I immediately felt like a member of the family. Every day was an adventure with them and I felt the love and effort they put into our relationship. I must admit though that my highlights were the seminars my partner Organisation organized! I met the most incredible people at the seminars from all over the world and made friends and memories for life. I will never forget them and to this day we still have contact and are even planing our next trips together. My host family was incredibly welcoming with them as well while I had my closest friend over for the weekend. I also felt very welcomed when I went to go visit my other exchange friends and their host families. School, I admit was difficult and a little boring but my classmates were very sweet and I was never left feeling alone or uncomfortable. They even threw me a surprise going away party! So did everyone else part of my host family. The grandparents treated me as if I were one of their own grand children and I was invited to every family event and met amazing and interesting people. Over all I wish I had stayed longer and it was the most incredible experience in my life. I recommend it for everyone and YES Canada was a great help with everything!

At the time of my daughter’s interest in being an exchange student, Covid had shut down many local programs. This led us to blindly doing a Google search, in which we came across YES Canada. She chose her country of interest and decided to go for the full 10 month program. YES Canada does all correspondance with partner companies in the country of your choosing. So easy.

I’m writing this review to put anyone considering an exchange’s mind at ease. This is legit the best company we could have dealt with.

It can seem overwhelming at times, looking at everything that has to be done to make the dream come true, but YES Canada broke it down into achievable steps and payments the entire way. The application and interview process were flawless. They sent links for whatever we needed to do at the appropriate times: ie. the visa and insurance.

A fuir ! Expérience horrible avec la famille d'accueil et avec cet organisme pour notre fille de 15 ans qui a séjourné au Canada. Seul point très positif que nous devons reconnaître pour justifier 1 étoile : le lycée (le corps enseignant, les locaux, et les camarades de classe très sympathiques et solidaires).
